We had a truly special stay in this peaceful home surrounded by nature. The space felt very supportive and nurturing — perfect for slowing down and gently going through our own processes. Everything about the house invites calm and reflection. You can feel that it was created with care. We’re deeply grateful for the silence, the beauty, and the sense of presence that this place holds. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful, grounding retreat.

Nice peaceful area, just outside of downtown Sintra. The view from the house is beautiful, you can see Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle from the front door! A car is recommended, but the train station in Sintra is also a quick Bolt or Uber ride away. The house is on a dead-end street, and parking is always available, which is nice. It is an older house, and while renovations and upgrades have been made, it can have some of the same issues an older house can have. However, the host is very quick to address any problems you may have. This home is a good value for its location, and is a nice respite from the busy city.

En de los baños no funcionaba la cisterna. Había muy poco papel higiénico para los días y personas de la reserva. Menaje insuficiente. Solo 4 platos de cada tipo. La vitrocerámica era complicada de usar y no había instrucciones. La llave de la cerradura principal era muy extraña y necesitaba ser extendida, esto lo podían haber avisado para evitar el disgusto de no lograr abrir la puerta hasta que me contestaron el mensaje. No tardaron en responder, pero se podía haber evitado quedarnos fuera con todo el equipaje. La puerta exterior que se abría era la de carruajes. Esto también debería de estar claramente explicado.

Comfortable and clean, you can smell the cleanliness upon arrival; kitchen, the appliances, bathrooms, white linen… Very convenient in all aspects, and great location, close to Sintra and the ways to Lisbon, yet also in the middle of the countryside. This time was a comeback, and we are returning yet again. The only thing is the mosquitoes since one is in the countryside, but as previously said, just plug in those insect killers for a while and it does the trick

Sympathique petite maison à coter de sintra . Si vous avez la voiture cela marche très bien . Hôte réactif . Par contre faite attention aux moustiques il y en as énormément dans la région. Je recommande ce logement ??

The location is great, very quiet and of easy access. Parking is super easy. The house is well decorated and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything needed for the stay. It is very clean and the linen, white and good quality. I'll be back soon. Just some mosquitoes :P, because we are in the middle of the nature, but there is an electric insect thingy in the rooms that works perfectly!

The house is in a wonderful location with great scenery and a view of the castle and palace. It is also a quiet area and spacious. It has the basic requirements for a short to medium stay. The keys provided did not open the gates so we had to jump over every time to get in and out. There were mosquitos in the room and other guests had also splattered them on the walls which had not been cleaned. The mattresses were very hard.

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Schlösser und Burgen von Sintra. Die Bilder zeigen das Interieur gut und es war auch wie auf den Bildern alles hochwertig. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft und kommen wieder.

The location was good. The view of Pena Palace is beautiful. A comfortable space for a family of 3. Offers cleaning service weekly. Once the cleaning was not on time and forgot towels once. Mosquitoes that show up in the house was not pleasant.

A tranquilidade do ambiente foi um dos pontos altos, proporcionando um descanso perfeito. A vista deslumbrante para o Palácio de Sintra foi simplesmente inesquecível. A casa estava extremamente bem equipada e oferecia bastante espaço, o que fez toda a diferença. Recomendo sem hesitação!

This house is stylishly renovated and furnished as well as spacious and quiet. It is comfortable and has a nice view of the Moorish castle and Pena. The photos of the front garden and pathways show a well manicured state. However this is far from the reality. The garden and pathways are neglected and full of weeds some 1-1.5 m high making it near impossible to move about the outside. One toilet and bidet need plumbing attention as indicated in a previous review in March.

Casa spaziosa, bella e pulitissima all’interno. Si trova in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. La casa fornisce tutto il necessario per trascorrere una comoda vacanza. L’unico inconveniente è stata la comunicazione con l’host; abbiamo ricevuto le risposte sempre con un po’ di ritardo. Da migliorare il pulsante dello scarico del wc e una manutenzione del giardino! La vista dal soggiorno è bellissima.

Ruim appartement in een rustige buurt met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. De eigenaar was gastvrij en attent, en reageerde snel op eventuele vragen. De eigenaar heeft ook toegezegd verbeteringen aan te brengen op bepaalde punten op basis van mijn suggesties. Het appartement was goed onderhouden en comfortabel, met een goede locatie (met de auto) dicht bij de bekende plekken en dicht bij supermarkten (Lidl, Aldi en Continente). Zeker een aanrader voor een aangenaam verblijf.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de la maison. Je vous recommande fortement de réserver. Le séjour était parfait. Tout est très propre. Ils ont pensé à tout et il y a une belle vue.
